Just wanted to send a note to say how pleased we are following the work that Tim and his crew did on our home. We had siding replacement, garage door reframing, and new windows installed, among other things. The entire team was consistently professional and courteous, and worked in such a way that we barely noticed they were there. Very importantly, they brought a couple of issues to our attention that could have caused major problems down the road had they not noticed or cared to inform us about. We were then able to address the problems and save ourselves a huge future headache. To us this honesty and pride in their name and workmanship is invaluable. The challenge in describing the extraordinarily fine work done for us over the years by Tom Madden & Sons Construction is identifying some portion of our house they HAVEN’T improved. Starting with designing and building a 400-square-foot office addition in 2002, over the past 13 years the Maddens have become like members of our family, performing interior and exterior painting; replacing all windows; re-shingling the roof; installing granite kitchen countertops and an enlarged cabinet arrangement; installing beautiful, durable wood floors in the kitchen and front hall; updating all three bathrooms (upgrading one from half-bath to full); and superintending a plumbing emergency hours before guests were to arrive. We may have forgotten something, but suffice it to say that the Maddens’ work has been flawless; they are super-nice people to have around; their care in cleaning up makes it easy living with construction; they deliver excellent value; and we look forward to their arrival for their next project. You’ll never choose anyone else after you choose the Maddens.

After several remodeling house projects (three full bathrooms and a half bathroom, kitchen, entry foyer and finished basement), my wife and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Madden Construction team for their excellent work, employee professionalism and follow-up displayed during these projects. We began our partnership with Madden and Sons Construction in 1994 when they added a garage to our residence. Since then they have made the basement into a family room even adding a half bath, remodeled the kitchen, remodeled the upstairs bathroom, built a patio with rock retaining wall, painted, did some more remodeling to the basement adding a vent less gas fireplace and installing a wall mounted large screen TV and put down a prefinished floor in our dining room . Soon they will be here to do some more remodeling of the bathroom.
We speak of it as a partnership because they have always listened, offered their suggestions and then done a totally awesome job.
We also like that they mean “no job too big or too small.”” As we have aged into our seventies, they have come for some small jobs that we can no longer tackle.
When a tree fell on part of our garage the first person called besides the insurance company was Tom Madden. He acted for us with the insurance company adjustor and the various workers who came to do repairs with completely satisfactory results.
We would not consider asking another contractor for a bid. Why would we when we have had such a long and satisfying relationship.

Tom Madden and Sons first bid a room remodeling job for us in 2004. Since that first job we have used them for at least 10 other jobs of varying sizes and complexity. During this twelve year period we have learned to expect and and have received work that reflects their company culture which is one of patience, skill and integrity. Their workers take the time and have the ability to complete work from the mundane to the challenging. They bid and bill their jobs fairly and reasonably. We recommend them without reservation.

Madden Construction is a very reputable company. The work they have done for us from 2000-2014 has been professional and on time. Here are some examples of the jobs done for us: remodeled our existing family room, converted a bedroom to a utility room with a walk-in shower, renovated our basement after a sewer back up, and completed storm damage repairs with a new roof and gutters. Our first project with Tom Madden & Sons Construction dates back to 1990 when they completely refinished our basement and did some outdoor electrical and concrete work for an outdoor spa. In more recent years, they did a kitchen remodel and converted a rather “old” screen porch into a 3-season room. Now, they have just completed a total remodel of 2 of our 3 bathrooms (the master bath being the most renovated) and some cosmetic changes to the 3rd bathroom along with some minor repairs and upgrades that we had requested. This was an overwhelming undertaking for 2 senior women, but Tom was there for us from the very first day we met. He led us through the insurance process and thoroughly explained all the work that would need to be done. He turned a nightmare into a manageable project.
The crew began work the next day and worked tirelessly for several weeks to get us back into our home as quickly as possible. Madden Construction has recently completed yet another project in our home. Tim and his crew has taken our vision and made it a reality. They do what it takes to have as little impact on our family during the renovation and the quality of their work is second to none.

Madden Construction recently remodeled my master bath with new marble shower, vanity, flooring and fixtures. Madden Construction is very professional and reliable. They completed the project as I requested and provided feedback about what works and what doesn’t work. This is the third project Madden has completed for me.

A year ago we contracted with Madden Construction to completely replace and expand our kitchen, as well as repaint the walls and ceilings of our main living areas. The project went smoothly, and the quality of planning and workmanship was outstanding. Their team was highly skilled, courteous, dependable, and professional. This year we experienced hail damage, and we turned to Madden Construction for the roofing and siding repairs. Remodeled master bath and also one in lower level, installing new shower, vanity, sink, countertop, faucet, and all hardware. They fixed a plumbing problem, in which my kitchen ceiling drywall had to be replaced and painted. They also replaced my roof and leak. I was in construction for 25 years. Just a few weeks ago Tom Madden and Sons Construction took my condo galley kitchen, which was very dark and small feeling, and turned it into a beautiful light kitchen by making a passthrough in one wall so natural light could come in. They also moved cabinets and built shelving giving me ample counter space. Jason and Tyler were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
